Privacy policy.
What we collect through this site, why, and the choices you have. No trackers, no selling your data.
Last updated 29 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data Namma Spirits Private Limited (“Namma Spirits”, “we”, “us”) collects through www.nammaspirits.com, why, and what you can do about it. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law.
The short version
- We only collect what you choose to send us through a form on this site.
- We use it to reply to you, or to consider you for a job you applied for.
- We do not sell it, and we do not use advertising trackers, analytics tools or cookies on this site.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time: contact@nammaspirits.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in a form on this site we receive what you type into it:
- Job applications: your name, phone number, email, location, languages, answers to the role's questions, links you share (such as a portfolio or videos) and your resume or CV, including anything written in it.
- Trade, general and where-to-buy enquiries: your name, company or outlet, email, phone, city or state and your message.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
Technical information. Like almost every website, our web server records basic request logs: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. When you submit a form we also record the page it was sent from and your IP address, to protect the forms against spam and abuse.
On your device. When you confirm you are of legal drinking age, your browser stores a small note of that (in local storage, not a cookie) so we do not ask again for 30 days. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Fonts. Pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads. Google's own privacy policy applies to that.
How we use it
- To assess job applications, contact shortlisted candidates and run our hiring process.
- To reply to trade, distribution, press and general enquiries, and to follow up on them.
- To send the newsletter you signed up for. Every issue will include a way to unsubscribe.
- To keep the website and its forms secure and working, and to prevent spam and misuse.
- To meet our legal obligations, including under excise, employment and tax law.
We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form, and for the legitimate purpose of responding to you. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; it does not affect anything we did before.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data. It is seen by the Namma Spirits team members who need it (for a job application, the people hiring for that role). We also use a small number of service providers who process it only on our behalf: our website hosting provider, whose servers store form submissions, and our business email provider. We may disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
- Job applications and resumes: up to 12 months after the role closes, so we can consider you for similar roles. If you are hired, your application becomes part of your employee record.
- Enquiries: as long as the conversation or business relationship is active, then up to 24 months.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: a short period, normally a few weeks.
After that we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
How we protect it
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS. Form submissions are stored on servers we control, with access limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update it, or complete anything that is missing;
- delete it, where we no longer need it or you withdraw consent;
- stop sending you the newsletter.
You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Write to contact@nammaspirits.com from the email address you used, or tell us how to verify it is you. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Age
This site is for people of legal drinking age only, and our job roles are open only to adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the legal drinking age. If you think someone underage has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be made clear on the site.
